Handcrafted in solid sterling silver and plated in glowing 14K yellow gold, the Golden Idol Necklace is a cheeky piece inspired by the Chachapoyan Fertility Idol, the infamous statue in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Hidden by the tribe’s priests in a temple deep within the jungles of Peru, as a rite of passage, young Chachapoyan warriors had to brave the temple’s deadly traps and then claim the figure by precisely counterbalancing the trigger of an ancient self-destruct system.
