In Norse mythology, Jormungand, the Midgard Serpent, grew until his body encircled the Earth, biting on his own tail.

Vikings loved to adorn themselves with beads collected from their pillaging triumphs. Men would plait them into their hair and beards while women would string them between their hangerock shoulder brooches. Beads during the Viking Age were typically iolite, amber, carnelian, garnet, rock crystal, and colored glass.

Each bead is hand knotted on brown silk; era appropriate carnelian and garnet gemstone rounds accented with raw sterling silver disks. The sterling diamond plate and forged hook clasp allows the 23 inch length to be worn as a necklace or wrist wrap.

Necklace: One Size Fits All.
Bracelet: Best fits as a triple wrap on an average sized man's wrist.
