Queen of Hearts Necklace

Both fellow jeweler Emily Postula of Torch Song Metals and I knew we wanted to create a classic crowned heart since we first started brainstorming designs. And with my obsession with Alice in Wonderland (I've been collecting pre-1900's editions since I was a teen), this is my personal favorite collaborative necklace thusfar! A cosmic combination of Em's carving prowess and my design skills!

A Victorian symbol meaning the sovereignty of love over the heart, be careful or people will shout "OFF WITH HER HEAD" to get their hands on this Queen of all Necklaces!

More history: The popular Claddagh ring, which shows a crowned heart being supported by hands, represent friendship, the crown means loyalty and the heart stands for love.

A little over 1.25" in diameter, this solid and comfortable pendant is perfect for day-wear. The thick rectangular sterling cable chain balances the size of the pendant, coming out of each crown tip to encircle the nape of the neck.
