Winged Heart Necklace

The very first collaborative necklace with fellow jeweler Emily Postula of Torch Song Metals. A cosmic combination of Em's carving prowess and my design skills! A more recent trend in pin-up revival tattoos, the design elements (the angel/dove wings surrounding a heart in illustrative bright colors) are often found as a chest piece, especially on women. Another variation is a Day of the Dead sugar skull in the center... maybe a future jewelry idea!

A big ol' chunk of silver, this necklace stops traffic! Spanning 2 1/8" long and over 36 grams completed, it is hefty but solid and comfortable. The thick rectangular sterling cable chain balances the size of the pendant, coming out of each wing tip to encircle the nape of the neck.
